Delphi Technology Corp. is seeking for an enthusiastic, creative and organised Marketing Assistant Intern for an eight (8) months work term. The successful candidate would be responsible for promoting and protecting the company’s reputation by supporting in the execution of marketing strategies and plans for brand building/corporate promotions, internal communications and corporate communications/corporate affairs initiatives through the use of, but not limited to, social media platforms, in collaboration with the Marketing team/marketing agency.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assist Marketing team in their daily activities
  • Support marketing team in organising events
  • Assist in organising and managing events/trade shows and conferences that supports company’s strategy
  • Help manage day-to-day social media platforms
  • Support with the creation of graphics for social media use, corporate presentations, or any other, depending on the business’ need.
  • Assist in written materials including press releases, blog posts, and corporate issues as required.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of Brand PR programs to support brand building initiatives/innovation/corporate promotions.

Requirements

  • Enrolled in post-secondary education in fields such as Sales and Marketing, Project Management, Digital Media, Photographic technology, or a related discipline.
  • Willing to travel to nationwide events.
  • Strong communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • Comfortable with managing Social Media tools such as Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and others.
  • Comfortable with using project management tool to organise daily tasks.
  • Ability to work under pressure, multitask and deliver to deadlines. 
  • Ability to take direction and absorb information quickly.
  • Must have a passion for marketing.
  • Ability to multitask and follow instructions.
  • Experience in content creation using a variety of different mediums such as video, Adobe Creative Suite editing, photography, articles, infographics and blogs (Preferred).
